Is my chat uploaded?
No. The Cringe reads the file in your browser to compute your stats. Nothing is uploaded unless you unlock the AI analysis, and then only a redacted slice of recent messages.
On a laptop?
WhatsApp Web can't export chats. Export on your phone and AirDrop / email the file to yourself — or use the Chrome extension to skip exporting entirely.
