Is it free?

Yes — message counts, reply times, who starts the conversation and more are free and instant. The AI layer (interest level, attachment styles, red flags, verdict) is part of the subscription.

Do you read or store my messages?

The free stats are computed in your browser and your file is never uploaded. If you unlock the AI analysis, a redacted slice of recent messages (links, emails and phone numbers removed) is sent for analysis and isn't kept.

How do I export a WhatsApp chat?

Open the chat → tap the contact name (iPhone) or ⋮ (Android) → More → Export chat → Without media. Save the file, then drop it here.

Does it work for group chats?

No — The Cringe reads 1-on-1 conversations, because that's where the receipts are.
